Therapy for Teens

Adolescence can be an exciting and challenging time—and for many teens, it’s also overwhelming. With pressures from school, social media, friendships, family expectations, and identity development, it’s not uncommon for teens to feel anxious, down, self-conscious, or unsure of how to cope.

We provide therapy for teens navigating a wide range of concerns, including depression, anxiety, academic stress, self-esteem issues, friendship and relationship struggles, sexual issues, and the impact of social media. Our approach is strengths-based and collaborative, helping teens feel seen, heard, and empowered to face life’s challenges with greater confidence.

Using a mix of Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and neuropsychological education, We help teens understand their thoughts and emotions, recognize their resilience, and build healthy coping strategies. Therapy becomes a space where they can sort through what they’re feeling, explore who they are, and gain tools that support both emotional well-being and real-life problem solving.

When appropriate, we also involve parents or caregivers to support communication and connection at home—while still giving teens the privacy and autonomy they need to grow. Parental involvement is crucial to teens being able to navigate their development within a structured and supportive environment.
