Blake also works with individuals, stepfamilies, and military families addressing a range of personal and familial concerns. His approach focuses on supporting clarity, personal development, and progress for clients. He takes a personal interest in every person he meets and engages each client respectfully and encourages their own autonomy and decision-making process.
Blake has experience in addressing a variety of issues and concerns, including sexual addiction, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), shame, and same-sex attraction.
Blake grew up in Liberty, Utah, a small town nestled between Eden and Paradise. Surrounded by mountains, he spent his childhood enjoying outdoor activities like fishing, skiing, and riding dirt bikes and snowmobiles. He remains actively engaged in many of these activities today.
Among his most valued experiences is his marriage to his wife, Nancy, spanning nearly 30 years. Together, they have three children, and Blake places great importance on the relationships he maintains with his immediate and extended family. He appreciates opportunities to connect with them at family gatherings, weekday game nights and back yard barbecues.
Blake received a Bachelor’s degree in Child and Family Studies from Weber State University. He later completed a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
