Alyssa Ringgenberg is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) providing services in individual, family, and group therapy. She enjoys working with children and adolescents, as well as with their family members. She has received training in Play Therapy techniques, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), domestic violence training (survivor & offender training), among other areas. Alyssa is a Certified Telemental Health Provider (CTMH). She is also certified in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), an evidence-based treatment shown to achieve significant improvement for a wide variety of mental health problems, involving the use of relaxing eye movements and the technique of voluntary memory/image replacement to change how negative images are stored in the brain.

Prior to private practice, Alyssa worked with general outpatient therapy agencies specializing in anxiety disorders, OCD, substance-abuse treatment, domestic violence treatment, DCFS cases, the foster care system, among other areas.

Alyssa is originally from Iowa, having also lived in the Northern Virginia/D.C. metro area prior to moving to Utah. She enjoys spending time outdoors, hiking, fishing, playing competitive volleyball, and spending time with her family and pets.

Additional Training:
Alyssa is certified in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), has completed several hours of TF-CBT training, as well as play therapy training over the course of multiple years. She is also a Certified Domestic Violence Counselor through the Utah Association for Domestic Violence Treatment (UADVT).
